College recruiting help

A College Recruiting Advisor Who Has Done the Recruiting Himself

Recruiting advice is everywhere. Advice from someone who has actually evaluated players, answered the emails and built a college roster is much harder to find. That's what your athlete gets here, in every sport we serve.

Money-back guarantee. $3,000 of it only when your athlete gets a roster spot.

Why families look for a recruiting advisor in the first place

Most parents we talk to are not short on effort. They've paid for camps, showcases and club seasons, sent emails, filled out recruiting questionnaires and posted video. What they're short on is clarity. Which schools are realistic? Is my athlete a Division I player, or should we be looking at Division II, NAIA or junior college? Why isn't anyone writing back? Are we already too late?

Those questions carry real weight. It's your son's or daughter's dream, the clock on high school sports keeps running, and nobody hands you a playbook. A good college recruiting advisor gives you that playbook, along with an honest voice that tells you what you need to hear, not just what's easy to hear.

What makes an advisor worth trusting

When you're comparing recruiting help, ask every option three questions:

  • Have you worked inside a college program? Knowing how coaches actually sort recruits is different from knowing about recruiting.
  • Who will my athlete actually work with? One accountable person beats a rotating call center.
  • What happens if it doesn't work? If a service won't share any of the risk, ask why.

Here's how we answer them. Chase Grant is a former Division I player who spent six years as the recruiting coordinator at Palomar College. He's a long-time coach in the San Diego area, a college professor, and he has built relationships with current and former college coaches and mentors. You work with him directly. And our pricing is structured so that we carry real risk alongside you.

Clear pricing, and protection either way

Our recruiting advising is $6,000 total per family, in any of the nine sports we serve. You pay $3,000 to start, and the other $3,000 only when your athlete signs with a school or earns a college roster spot.

Two guarantees back it up. If your athlete doesn't get a college roster spot, you get your money back. If your athlete suffers a career-ending injury, you get your money back. That's how we keep ourselves honest: if we don't believe we can help, it makes no sense for us to take an athlete on.

What working with an advisor looks like week to week

  1. A straight evaluation. We review film, results, grades and playing history, then tell you which levels fit today and what would change that picture.
  2. A school list built for your athlete. Athletic fit, plus academics, location, cost and where your athlete would actually get on the field or court.
  3. A plan for the next 6 to 12 months. Which events and camps matter in your sport, which don't, what to film, and when to reach out to which programs.
  4. Introductions and outreach. We help your athlete communicate like a prospect coaches want to recruit, and we use our network to start conversations.
  5. Decision support. When interest turns into visits and offers, we help you compare them clearly and avoid costly mistakes.

Just as important is what we'll tell you not to do. Families often spend thousands on events that were never going to move the needle for their athlete's target schools. Cutting that waste is part of the job.

Why the sport matters, and why the fundamentals don't change

A basketball recruit's year revolves around certified summer events. A lacrosse or softball recruit can't hear from a Division I coach until September 1 of junior year. A soccer player's exposure often runs through club league showcases, and a football recruit lives on film and summer camps. A good advisor knows those differences and builds the plan around them.

But underneath every sport, the fundamentals are the same. Coaches recruit players they can trust, and they trust players who come recommended by people they know. Dave Martinez put it this way about his son: he "wasn't the biggest or fastest kid, but with his guidance and network it made a huge difference and opened up an opportunity that might not have been there."

What families say

“We did not really know the landscape of how to play at the next level, and we finally found the blueprint of someone who cares and gave us that info in a genuine way.”
Jen Williams (parent)
“Chase single handedly helped my son get into college. He wasn't the biggest or fastest kid, but with his guidance and network it made a huge difference and opened up an opportunity that might not have been there.”
Dave Martinez (parent)
“This was super beneficial for my son as he really developed over the course of his high school career and received a d2 scholarship. I do not know where he would be without the guidance and expertise of a real college coach and former pro player.”
Jeff Walker (parent)

Frequently asked questions

What does a college recruiting advisor do?

An advisor evaluates where your athlete fits, builds a realistic target school list, helps your athlete present themselves to coaches, opens conversations with programs, and guides your family through visits, offers, admissions and signing.

What qualifications does your advisor have?

Chase Grant is a former Division I player, spent six years as the recruiting coordinator at Palomar College, is a long-time San Diego-area coach, and teaches at the college level.

Which sports do you advise in?

Baseball, softball, football, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse, and men's and women's basketball.

How much does recruiting advising cost?

$6,000 total per family. $3,000 upfront and $3,000 only when your athlete signs with a school or earns a college roster spot, with money back if your athlete doesn't get a roster spot or suffers a career-ending injury.

Can you guarantee a scholarship?

No honest advisor can promise a scholarship, and we don't. What we do guarantee is your money back if your athlete doesn't earn a college roster spot, or after a career-ending injury.

My athlete's club or high school coach already helps. Why add an advisor?

Club and high school coaches can be a huge help, but they're usually responsible for an entire roster. An advisor focuses on one athlete and one family, with a plan built around your athlete specifically.
