College athletic recruiting service
A College Recruiting Service That Only Gets Paid in Full When Your Athlete Makes a College Roster
You've watched your son or daughter put in the work: early practices, club and travel weekends, the long drives home. The hard part now isn't the talent. It's getting the right college coaches to actually see your athlete before the window closes. That's the job we do.
Money-back guarantee. $3,000 of it only when your athlete gets a roster spot.

Nine sports, one honest approach
The Athlete Market helps families in baseball, softball, football, men's soccer, women's soccer, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, men's basketball and women's basketball. Every sport has its own calendar, its own events and its own way of evaluating players. What doesn't change is how college coaches decide who gets a roster spot: they recruit players who fit a need, who they've actually seen, and who come recommended by people they trust.
Most families come to us after the same realization: playing well isn't the same as getting recruited. Coaching staffs are small, and every one of them receives far more emails, highlight reels and event invites than they could ever watch. Good athletes fall through the cracks every year, not because they couldn't play at the next level, but because nobody put them in front of the right program at the right time.
What a real recruiting service should do for your family
In our view, a recruiting service should deliver four things: an honest read on what level your athlete can play at, a target list of schools that fit on the field and in the classroom, real conversations with coaches through people they already trust, and steady guidance through visits, offers, admissions and signing. If a service isn't doing all four, you're mostly paying for a profile page.
We built The Athlete Market around that standard, and then we put our own money on the line so you're not the only one taking a risk.
The offer: $6,000 total, and half of it waits until your athlete signs
We publish our price because you deserve to know it before you get on a call. It's the same in every sport: $6,000 total per family.
- $3,000 upfront to start the work.
- $3,000 only when your athlete signs with a school or earns a college roster spot. If that never happens, you never pay the second half.
Two guarantees sit on top of that. If your athlete doesn't get a college roster spot, you get your money back. If your athlete suffers a career-ending injury, you get your money back. Your family is protected either way, and we'll walk through the full terms on your free call.

Who's behind it: a coach who has sat on the other side of the desk
The Athlete Market is led by Chase Grant, a long-time San Diego-area coach and a former Division I player. For six years he was the recruiting coordinator at Palomar College, which means he spent years doing the exact job your athlete is trying to get noticed by: evaluating players, sorting through emails and video, and deciding who was worth a phone call. He's also a college professor, so he understands the academic side of the decision as well as the athletic side.
That background matters because the fundamentals of recruiting carry across sports. Coaches everywhere want to know the same things: can this athlete help us, will they handle the academics, and who can vouch for them? Over the years Chase has built a network of current and former college coaches and mentors who will take his call, and a recommendation from someone a coach trusts carries a weight that a cold email from a stranger rarely does.
How the process works, step by step
- Free recruiting call. We talk about your athlete's sport, position, grades, timeline and goals. If we don't think we can help, we'll tell you on that call.
- Honest evaluation. We look at film and results and give you a straight answer on where your athlete fits right now: Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA or junior college.
- Target school list. Programs where your athlete can realistically play, grow and earn a degree they're proud of.
- Getting in front of coaches. We help tighten up video and the athlete's story, and use our network to open real conversations with programs on the list.
- Guidance through the finish. Visits, offers, financial aid questions, admissions and signing day, with someone in your corner who has been through it from the coach's side.
Is this the right time to start?
Usually sooner than you think. NCAA rules on when coaches can contact recruits differ by sport, and many programs build their classes earlier than families expect. Starting early gives your athlete time to improve film, take the right steps academically and build relationships before the busiest stretch. That said, we also work with juniors, seniors and transfers. Late isn't the same as too late, especially at the Division II, Division III, NAIA and junior college levels, where rosters often come together later.
If you're not sure where your athlete stands, that's exactly what the free call is for. Thirty minutes, no pressure, and you'll leave with a clearer picture either way.
What families say
“Chase single handedly helped my son get into college. He wasn't the biggest or fastest kid, but with his guidance and network it made a huge difference and opened up an opportunity that might not have been there.”
“This was super beneficial for my son as he really developed over the course of his high school career and received a d2 scholarship. I do not know where he would be without the guidance and expertise of a real college coach and former pro player.”
“We did not really know the landscape of how to play at the next level, and we finally found the blueprint of someone who cares and gave us that info in a genuine way.”
